Maternity Tea and Orientation

When people are expecting a new member to their family, they must think that having a baby is a joyous experience. Mother and Father having a busy and happy time filled with doctor visits, shopping sprees, and new discoveries.

One of the most interesting experiences that I had was having a maternity tea/ tour with my wife. Many hospitals host maternity tea to ease parents' tension, to provide valuable information and give parents an opportunity to tour the hospital, meet members of the staff and enjoy refreshments and gifts. After we did the survey and comparison, we considered choosing Garfield Hospital as our first choice. Because the doctors and nurses are Chinese, we felt more comfortable communicating with them. 

But we did learn the spirit and way in which Americans treat the babies. Not only from maternity tour, but also in daily life, we think people here love kids and respect kid as a whole person. We begin to believe what people said:"Children living in U.S. are as good as living in heaven."
